ABSTRACT:
A ceramic dielectric composition is provided including 35 to 93.5% by weight of SrTiO.sub.3, 4 to 40% by weight of Bi.sub.2 O.sub.3, at least 2.5% but less than 60% by weight of TiO.sub.2, and 0.1 to 5.0% by weight, of an alkali metal oxide based on the total amount of SrTiO.sub.3, Bi.sub.2 O.sub.3 and TiO.sub.2. The ceramic dielectric composition has a high dielectric constant and low dielectric loss and exhibits reduced variations of dielectric constant and the dielectric loss with respect to variation of an applied voltage.
