ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 denotes optionally substituted phenyl, thienyl, furyl or 1,4-cyclohexadienyl, R.sub.2 represents a free carboxyl group or an esterified carboxyl group which can be split physiologically, R.sub.3 represents hydrogen, lower akoxy or an optionally substituted methyl group and B represents an optionally substituted six-membered ring with 1 to 3 ring nitrogen atoms, which is bonded to the carbonyl group --C(.dbd.O)-- by one of its carbon atoms, the nitorgen atoms of a monocyclic six-membered ring having 2 nitrogen atoms being either adjacent or separated by two ring carbon atoms, and the salts of such compounds which have a salt-forming group, including the inner salts, for example the 7.beta.-[D(-)-.alpha.-(3,5-Dioxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1,2,4-triazine-6-carbo xamido)-phenylacetamido]-cephalosporanic acid, have antibiotic activity.
