ABSTRACT:
A resilient plastic lid closure (10) for the upper rim (20) or a bowl (15) or the like, said lid having a downturned periphery (16) terminating in an outer rim flange (18) for snapping over the rim (20) when pressed downwardly at the medial portion (11) of the lid, thereby forming a tight seal with the outer surface of the bowl rim (20) when pressure on the medial portion (11) of the lid (10) is released.
