ABSTRACT:
A cellulose acylate film is provided that includes a cellulose acylate that satisfies the degrees of substitution below, and a hydrolysis-condensation product of a hydrolyzable and polycondensable reactive metal compound.in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?2.5≦A+B≦3.0in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?0≦A≦2.95in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?(In the expressions, A denotes the degree of substitution by acetyl, and B denotes the total of the degrees of substitution by acyl groups other than acetyl). There is also provided a process for producing the cellulose acylate film, the process including a step of preparing a solution that includes the cellulose acylate above, an oligomeric hydrolysis-condensation product of a hydrolyzable and polycondensable reactive metal compound, and a solvent, a step of casting the solution on a support, and a step of forming a film by removing the solvent and drying.
