ABSTRACT:
Enzyme exhibiting cellobiose oxidase activity, which enzyme has a relative activity of at least 70% at a pH of about 9 and a temperature of about 50.degree. C. An enzymatic agent comprising cellobiose oxidase and an endoglycanase and/or oxidoreductase. A process of bleaching paper pulp using cellobiose oxidase.
