ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a sign hanger A, for facilitating the hanging of items such as a banner or the like from suspended ceiling grids in a store. The sign hanger is adapted to have a twist-lock releasable connection with a ceiling grid. A friction lock structure42, 58is added to decrease the likelihood of accidental deinstallation of the sign hanger A. In one embodiment the hanger has an elongated body10having spaced apart flanges125, 130in order to hold a banner200. In another embodiment the hanger has a centrally located plateau864, which co-operates with tapered surfaces836and850on respective clips804and808to hold the hanger in place on the ceiling grid.
