ABSTRACT:
A ceiling fan is disclosed having a motor (14), a radial array of fan blades (16) coupled to blade irons (18) mounted to the motor (14), a translucent motor housing (24), and a frame (20) positioned concentrically around the motor housing (24). The frame (20) and motor housing (24) connect to a plate (32) having a series of light sources (40) mounted to the plate (32) inboard of the motor housing (24) to illuminate the motor housing (24).
