ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to novel cationic dye of formula (1)whereinR1and R7are each independently of the other hydrogen, hydroxyl; unsubstituted or substituted C1–C6alkyl, aryl radical or C114 C6alkoxy; or —NR3R4,whereinR3and R4are each independently of the other hydrogen, unsubstituted or substituted aryl radical or C1–C6alkyl, andR2is hydrogen, hydroxyl, unsubstituted or substituted C1–C6alkyl, aryl radical or C1–C6alkoxy, —NR3R4, or an organic radical of formula (2)whereinR5is hydrogen, unsubstituted or substituted aryl radical or C1–C6alkyl, andX−is an anion.Further, the present invention relates to compositions thereof, especially comprising other dyes, to processes for the preparation thereof and to the use thereof in the dyeing of organic material, such as keratin, wool, leather, silk, cellulose or polyamides, and preferably human hair.
