ABSTRACT:
An epoxidation method is described wherein an alkylene compound is reacted with a peroxidic compound, e.g., H.sub.2 O.sub.2, in the presence of an improved molybdenum catalyst which is prepared by a selective reaction involving an oxygen-containing molybdenum compound, an amine, and an alkylene glycol.
