ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to new catalyst combinations having improved catalytic activity for isocyanate polyaddition reactions. The catalysts are combinations of known metal catalysts with aromatic compounds which contain at least one nitrogen atom as a hetero atom and have at least one primary amino group in the ortho- or para-position to the hetero atom. Preferred aromatic compounds include ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 which may be the same or different, each represent a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an aromatic hydrocarbon group having from 6 to 12 carbon atoms or two of the groups R.sub.1 to R.sub.4 represent a condensed aromatic ring.
