ABSTRACT:
A physical mixture of a first and second catalyst. The first catalyst comprises copper or a copper compound, preferably copper sulfate supported on a porous carrier material. The second catalyst is a combination of metals or compounds thereof, preferably sulfates of vanadium and iron or tungsten and iron, also dispersed on a porous carrier material.
