ABSTRACT:
Two types of catalysts are disclosed. They are:
1. Catalyst for oxidation of carbon monoxide, nitrogen monoxide or sulfur dioxide, comprising manganese dioxide, calcium aluminate, iron oxyhydroxide and copper hydroxycarbonate; and
2. Catalyst for oxidation of carbon monoxide, nitrogen monoxide or sulfur dioxide, prepared by heating a mixture of manganese dioxide calcium aluminate, iron oxyhydroxide and copper hydroxycarbonate.
