ABSTRACT:
A cartridge case1for a magnetic tape cartridge comprises a cartridge case1consisting of a lower half2and an upper half3. The lower half2is provided with retaining ribs71each having a retaining slanted surface71asuch that a plate-like cartridge memory7is positioned on the retaining slanted surfaces71awith its one side7dlowered and is obliquely supported with respect to a bottom plate28of the lower half2. The upper half3is provided with supporting members for supporting various non-resilient constituent parts positioned on the lower half2and including the cartridge memory7. The upper half2is provided with a stopper rod77such that when the upper half3is assembled with the lower half2, the stopper rod77reaches a cartridge memory-rising region before the supporting members contact with the non-resilient constituent parts on the lower half2.
