ABSTRACT:
A powdered composition for freshening and deodorizing carpets comprising an inorganic sulfate, bicarbonate or chloride, an aluminum silicate clay, a liquid agglomerating agent, and a fragrance, and a method of use thereof comprising applying the composition uniformly to the carpet and thereafter removing it from the rug.
