ABSTRACT:
According to the present invention, there is provided a card adapter which is capable of preventing contact failure between a cover member and a ground terminal caused by the floating of the cover member when a card is inserted into a card inserting portion. A contacting surface40facing a back-end surface1bof the card inserting portion1ais provided on the ground terminal12. A ground contacting portion41comprising a contacting portion41abrought into contact with the contacting surface40, a plate spring portion41bextending in a widthwise direction of the card inserting portion1aand bent in a lengthwise direction of the card inserting portion1a, and a cantilever supporting portion41cfor supporting the plate spring portion41bin a cantilever manner is formed in a bent portion 4aprovided in a front-end portion of the cover member4. In addition, in a lengthwise direction of the card inserting portion1a, the contacting portion41aof the ground contacting portion41is pressed against the contacting surface40of the ground terminal12to be brought into contact with each other through the elastic force of the plate spring portion41b.
