ABSTRACT:
A carburetor includes a metering assembly in which the effective area of the metering orifice varies in direct proportion to movement of a vlave stem. Primary and secondary fuel circuits are controlled by the assembly in response to air flow through the carburetor to maintain an optimum fuel-to-air ratio under various load and atmospheric conditions.
