ABSTRACT:
A carburetor for an internal combustion engine comprises a housing, porous matter contained in the housing, means for injecting fuel into the housing and onto the porous matter to effect completion of vaporization of the fuel, means for admitting air into the housing to form a mixture with the vaporized fuel and means for conducting the mixture out of the housing for combustion in the engine.
