ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a carbostyril derivative represented by the following general formula ##STR1## (wherein A, R and W have the same definitions as given above; and the carbon-to-carbon bond between the 3- and 4-positions of the carbostyril skeleton represents a single bond or a double bond.
Said carbostyril derivative is useful as a platelets aggregation inhibitory agent.
