ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is a carbonless paper suitable for use in electrostatographic copiers. The paper comprises a base sheet of paper making fibers having uniformly dispersed therein from about 0.05 to 10 weight percent of hollow, generally spherical particles ranging in diameter from about 1/2 to 200 microns in diameter. These particles serve the purpose of increasing the stiffness and caliper of the paper sheet. The carbonless paper also contains a color forming material encapsulated in discrete particles and/or a color developing material.
