ABSTRACT:
Novel compounds represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represent hydrogen or alkyl, R.sub.3 represents hydrogen, alkyl, substituted alkyl or CONR.sub.1 R.sub.2, and n is 0 to 6, can be used to harden gelatin. The compounds are particularly useful for hardening gelatin of a photographic element.
