A newCalatheaplant particularly distinguished by tall upright, dense leafy growth habit with long-lasting, paper white bracted inflorescences which are held above and among the foliage, glossy, elliptical leaves with alternating bars of dark and lighter green which followed the primary veins and a thin band of silver green along the margin of the leaf is disclosed.
