ABSTRACT:
Cable insulation having high resistance to the formation or growth of water trees and high aging resistance consists of an ethylene polymer (I) and from 0.5 to 20% by weight of an ethylene polymer (II), which is an ethylene/C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl-C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkene carboxylate/C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkenecarboxylic acid terpolymer.
