ABSTRACT:
A waterproof filling and flooding composition for communication cables which comprises 90% or more by weight of petrolatum, about 5-7% polybutene-1, 0.5-2.0% polyethylene and the remainder an amorphous saturated rubber such as ethylenepropylene rubber (EPR), exhibits flow resistance at temperatures of 160.degree.-170.degree. F. and even higher.
