ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is a cable chain return system100that includes a spring170for assisting folding and organization of a cable chain110. When a customer replaceable unit (CRU)210is extended from a chassis140to gain access to connectors on the back of the CRU210, the cable chain110is extended. When the CRU210is moved back into the chassis140, a plurality of folding curves130organize the cable chain110, and cables118therein, without damaging the cables118or inhibiting positioning of the CRU210in the chassis140. One of these curves130is initiated by the spring170and therefore aids in returning and organizing of the cable chain110.
