ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for burning oil or gas mixed with air to produce a long stable flame in which the fuel is atomized in a chamber by a primary atomizing medium introduced tangentially into the chamber to form a confined stream, secondary air moving parallel to the confined streams mixed with the stream which is then expanded and tertiary air supplied to the stream in a helical swirling path about the stream periphery.
