To provide a brushless AC generator for a vehicle, which is capable of improving a cooing performance for an excitation coil and increasing an output of electric power generation with a simple structure.An external fan11fixed to a shaft10outside the brackets5and6and an internal fan34fixed to a rotor assembled body21formed from a first rotor pole22and a second rotor pole23united into one body, the internal fan34having fan blade34aprovided in a valley part22bbetween claw poles22aof the first rotor pole22, are provided. The external fan11and the internal fan34are used to generate an air flow for cooling a stator core3, the rotor assembled body21, an excitation core31and an excitation coil33.
