ABSTRACT:
A brush assembly structure for a motor has a brush holder integrally formed in substantially a C-shape so that free ends of leg portions of the brush holder are positioned at diametrically opposed side positions of a commutator. Brush accommodation units are formed at the free ends of the leg portions. Brush springs are attached to the cylindrical bottom portion of a holder stay unit. The brush springs elastically depress brushes accommodated in the brush accommodation units at the moment when the brushes reach the diametrical side positions of the commutator. When the brush unit is assembled to the holder stay unit in accordance with the invention, the brushes are protected during assembly and an assembly job is simplified.
