ABSTRACT:
A rotatable braking member, for example a disc or a drum, for a vehicle brake is provided with a separate plurality of spaced cooling fins having a co-efficient of thermal conductivity higher than that of the braking member to dissipate heat to a flowable working medium within passages between adjacent fins, and at least some of the passages are substantially uninterrupted circumferentially with respect to the direction of rotation of the braking member.
