Botanical compositions are described having hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic and antimicrobial activity for maintaining good health in normal person and diabetic person comprising water extract of two medicinal plants, dried leaves ofMalvastrum coromandelianumand/or dried stems ofCoscinium fenestratum. The extracts are used separately or in combination of fixed amount or varied amounts, as herbal beverage or in different pharmaceutical preparations.
