ABSTRACT:
A gadolinium (3.sup.+) complex of polyamine polyacetate, comprising a polyamine nucleus having a pendant boron-containing substituent on one of the nitrogen or carbon atoms of the polyamine nucleus. The boron-gadolinium compound may suitably be of the formula: ##STR1## wherein: is a polyamine coordination structure capable of covalently bonding the substitutents R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 and of complexing with Gd;
