ABSTRACT:
The boot/binding assembly for a snowboard with an automatic binding has a base (12) having a device (14) for holding the boot via its sides and complementary forms guiding and positioning the boot in the binding. The guiding and positioning forms (16) located on the binding extend above the holding device (14) for holding the boot so as to prevent the actuation of the holding device until the boot is fully positioned relative to the binding.
