ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus is provided for making book style duplex copies from simplex originals with images having a top to bottom alignment oriented in the direction of sheet travel. Copy sheets bearing first side images are passed along a duplex path and stacked in a duplex tray. Prior to refeeding, the tray is rotated by 180.degree. in a single plane whereby the leading edge of said sheets becomes the trailing edge of the sheets upon being fed out form the duplex tray. The arrangement provides selectable pad style or book style copying. Sheets rotated in a side registered machine may be offset to provide correct registration with rotation.
