ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a method for making a composite article by applying an adhesive composition to one side of each of two foils of metal. The adhesive composition contains an ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer and linear low density polyethylene and thermoplastic styrene/diene block copolymer. A sheet of fiber-reinforced polypropylene is subjected to heat-lofting. Finally, the adhesive coated metal foils are mated on opposite sides of the heat-lofted polypropylene sheet under elevated temperature and pressure.
