ABSTRACT:
The bobbin gripper employs a pair of roller assemblies which are skewed relative to the axis of the bobbin carried by the gripper in order to impose an axial force on the bobbin. The force is used to press the bobbin towards one arm of the cradle mechanism when the mechanism is reopened for yarn clamping.
The thread reserve forming device employs a pivotally mounted part which cooperates with a second part to position a yarn in three positions in order to form a yarn reserve while also overlapping a tail extending from the yarn reserve towards an original clamping force.
