ABSTRACT:
A device (10) for receiving, storing, filtering and reinfusing a patient's blood is described. The device is a flexible container that has two unique-features in the preferred embodiment. One feature is the use of a filter (24) which filters blood immediately prior to reinfusing blood into a patient. The other feature is the use of a separator (32) to prevent the filter from collapsing upon itself.
