ABSTRACT:
A blood collecting vessel has a collecting tube (11) and a blood feed cap (12) with a scoop (16). The scoop (16) subtends an angle of approximately 45.degree. with the normal to the top wall (15) of the blood feed cap (12). (FIG. 1).
