Thermoplastic elastomeric polyetherimide ester block copolymers comprising at least one polyetherimide ester recurring structural unit represented by the formula ##STR1## and at least one ester recurring structural unit represented by the formula ##STR2## wherein: G is the divalent radical remaining after the removal of the amino groups of a high molecular weight poly(oxy alkylene)diamine;
