ABSTRACT:
An easy-opening blister card package is disclosed having a rigid container sheet with cavities formed in it and a closure sheet to seal the cavities. Between the cavities are finger tabs that are accessible by detaching individual sections of the blister card package. Once a section is detached, a finger tab is exposed which is pulled to form a larger pull tab. The pull tab is sufficiently large to allow the user to comfortably grasp it to peel apart the sealed layers. An alternate embodiment of the invention discloses a child-resistant blister card package wherein an additional seal must be broken to form the pull tab.
