ABSTRACT:
The present invention is directed to a blend comprising about 5 to about 95 percent by weight of an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer and about 95 to about 5 percent by weight of an amorphous nylon polyamide copolymer having a glass transition temperature in the range of about 30 to 100.degree. C. The polyamide forms separate domains when blended with the ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer. Such a structure has been found to surprisingly provide a composition capable of stretching at temperatures less than about 110.degree. C. without incurring problems known in the art.
