ABSTRACT:
A roofing strip with a very wide range of plasticity and based on elastomer-modified bitumen is prepared by covering a support with a bitumen/rubber mixture in the ratio of 17/3-19/1 and irradiating the strip at a rate between 6 and 16.times.10.sup.4 Gy.
