ABSTRACT:
A stabilized composition of matter which comprises an organic material subject to oxidative, thermal or actinic degradation, and an effective stabilizing amount of a bisphosphite typified by formula I ##STR1## wherein n has a value of 0 or 1; Q is --CR.sup.1 R.sup.2 where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are independently hydrogen, alkyl or aryl; Y.sup.1, Y.sup.2, Y.sup.3, Y.sup.4, Z.sup.2, Z.sup.3, Z.sup.4 and Z.sup.5 are independently hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, aryl, cyano, acyl and hydrogen; and each Z represents an identical or different alkyl, aryl, aralkyl or alkaryl group.
