ABSTRACT:
Bis(hydroxyalkyl)disiloxane lubricants of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 are methyl or ethyl and R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 are linear alkyl groups of up to 20 carbon atoms. These compounds are useful as additives to methyl alkyl siloxane lubricants for conductive high density information discs. Discs lubricated with the lubricant mixture exhibit improved stability to environments of high temperature and high relative humidity.
