ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to novel 2,2'-bis [bis(aryl)phosphinomethyl]-1,1'-binaphthyls of the formula ##STR1## in which Ar.sup.2 is a phenyl radical, R' is an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, CF.sub.3, fluorine, chlorine or bromine, and n is 1 or 2.
