ABSTRACT:
This invention concerns a biological process for remediating creosote-contaminated sites or environment sites containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons generally found in creosote-contaminated sites. The biological process comprises novel bacteria which can degrade recalcitant chemical compounds.
