ABSTRACT:
A glass chopped strand mat binder according to the invention can be supplied in an amount smaller than a conventional binder amount and can form a glass chopped strand mat having desired uniform strength. The invention is a glass chopped strand mat binder that includes a polyester resin powder (A) having a volume average particle diameter DVof 100 to 250 μm, containing at most 20% by weight of particles with a volume based particle diameter of at least 300 μm, and having a coefficient CVof variation of volume based particle diameter distribution of 0.1 to 30% as measured by the laser diffraction scattering method.
