ABSTRACT:
The need for new class of antifungal drugs with high efficacy, low toxicity and novel mode of action is well established. Synthesis and antifungal activity of bile acid derived new steroidal dimers N1,N3-Diethylenetriamine bis [cholic acid amide] (1) and N1,N3-Diethylenetriamine bis [deoxycholic acid amide] (2) having novel amphiphile topology is described.
