ABSTRACT:
A bicyclic phosphine oxide composition comprising the grouping ##STR1## wherein P is phosphorus, O is oxygen, A is an alkylene chain of 2 to 12 carbon atoms, Z is a polar group and R represents the carbon atoms in a phosphorus-containing ring formed by alkylating phosphine with an ethylenically unsaturated alicyclic hydrocarbon having a pendant olefin group.
