ABSTRACT:
Beta-phosphosulfoxy alcohols and preparation thereof by reacting an olefinically unsaturated compound and a poly-thiophosphoric acid with oxygen using actinic radiation as an energy source at a temperature of from -10.degree. to 70.degree. C., preferably in the presence of a dye sensitizer.
