ABSTRACT:
Benzylsulfinyl pyridine-N-oxides represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is a chlorine atom or a bromine atom; and Y and Z, which may be the same or different, are each a chlorine atom or a fluorine atom, is disclosed. A process for producing the same, and a herbicide containing the same as an active ingredient are also disclosed.
