ABSTRACT:
A compound having the structural formula ##STR1## wherein R is halogen, including fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine, preferably chlorine; methyl, ethyl, ethenyl, methoxy, nitro, trifluoromethyl or cyano; R.sub.1 is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, or allyl; and X is in either the 2- or 3-position and is hydrogen, 2-methyl, 3-methyl, 2-chlorine, 3-chlorine, 2-fluorine, 3-fluorine or 2-methoxy and their use as postemergent herbicides.
